finally i've learn how to post pictures...haha...up there u can see a collage of pictures tat i took when i went to celebrate my sister's birthday on the 12th August, me and some of my aunts, uncles and cousins...we all went out to watch the last day of the Singapore Fireworks Festival held at Marina Bay...we all took a lorry there..how cool is that huh..your family sitting at the back of a lorry..going to town area and watch the fireworks from there...enjoying the breeze...i love it.. its different from sitting in a car..which can only accomodate very few ppl but the lorry is open-air..like a convertable...haha...and to sit back there with your family memebers with the feelings of togetherness...haha..was very fun..
well the fireworks started around 9pm and last roughly around 15mins or more...but we reached there around 8.30+pm...and it was already pack with ppl...know of the highway opposite of the Esplanade..at the mouth of S'pore river??...well it ws pack with ppl...crowds were standing by the side of the highway...how on earth did those ppl get there sia...i mean u can't stop ur car there..but anyway my father drove near esplanade...there was a slight traffic jam...but not tat bad..around the area of the padang,fullerton and esplanade..there were hundreds of ppl standing around waiting for the fireworks...ppl were pushing and rushing...there were SOO many of them it looks like ants!!..really..it also look like 1 of those propaganda Chinese communist film tat Mr.Sim showed us where millions of Chinese work & come together to hear to the Communist speeches...hahaha..cool right...my father manage to get a good spot near the padang and esplanade...so he park the lorry there and we all comfortably waited...around 9 we heard some noises and up went the fireworks...the fireworks was superb & beautiful..ppl cheered and clapped...i took pics and videos of it..but nearing the Finale..my camera's batt went dead...how unlucky..but manage to use my phone to capture the vid...phew..aft the whole thing ended than came the nigthmare...we were stuck in the traffic jam again...but this time was worse..hundreds of ppl were crossing the road as though they owned it..buses were packed and hundreds of cars was trying to exit the area and get home...now comes the disadvantage of sitting at the back of the lorry during a traffic jam...as our lorry was sandwhich between 2 buses..we get to breath CARBON MONOXIDE...nice right.. luckily the jam was not tat long..or else i think i would just drop dead...haha.. aft tat drove around town..admiring the scenic view and the tall skyscrapers...wat a nice way to explore Singapore's town...went home around 2+am...tats why no time to blog..
and today just came home from sending my Sister off to her NTU (Nanyang Technological University) hostel...she decided that it would cost too much and the travelling time will be very long if she was to stay at home and attend class at NTU so she applied for a hostel...at first my mother disagree but after she made a pact with my Grandmother...which is:"She have to come home every weekend"..than she agrees i'm gonna miss her...but its ok..still can communicate through MSN..
